Like many people, we all live in different types of home – a modernised east London Victorian house; an old Essex farm; a townhouse in the midlands…town and country. Which is why our collection of furniture, cook and bakeware, florals, crockery, candles and accessories, is a pretty eclectic mix, sometimes a bit quirky, chosen for your homes, and ours, indoors and out. Chatworth Road is a new London hotspot with its Sunday market, cafes and delis and Triangle is its latest addition as a design-led lifestyle store.
When you have finished browsing the homeware designs you can go to recently launched Café Smug for a quirky coffee. Pentreath & Hall was founded by accident five years ago when Ben Pentreath, an architect, decided to open a small shopfront on his office annex, and his friend Birdie Hall, an artist, decided to help him. The shop was born and has now grown to become a treasure chest of beautiful things. Only stocking items the pair both love, it is clear that these two are a very stylish duo. Similar to other design shops, the Do South Shop offers a variety of selected furniture like sofas, tables, fabrics and more. Monologue is a truly unique interior design shop located in East London.

As spring turns to summer, there's no better time to get stuck into giving your interiors a reboot. From sofas to decorative accessories and armchairs, you can find pretty much everything you wish at OKA. Make sure to visit both the company’s website and one of Tom Dixon’s stores in London.
Started by three close friends, Triangle sells everything from stylish teak tables to mid-century glassware via Scandinavian homeware from designers such as Normann Copenhagen. Full of personal touches, Smug reflects owner Lizzie Evans’ eclectic tastes. Items are displayed on unusual items of 1950s furniture that Lizzie has collected over the years, including Formica tables and even retro school desks. The shop space features it’s old waxed boards and rusty manhole covers combined with glass flooring. The result is a bright, open space that keeps its unique and old-fashioned charm.

Founders Staffan and Monique, are there to listen to your needs and help you envision the ideal interior for you or your business. Sé began back in 2007 by Pavlo Schtakleff, to reclaim the glamour and quality of the 20th century. In SCP, you will find designs by Jasper Morrison, Donna Wilson, and Matthew Hilton. The company’s website has a vast collection of product photos in high-quality. Located in Kensington Church Street, this shop will definitely help you level-up your interior.
Craftsmanship and sustainability are at the heart of east London shop The Hackney Draper, who aim to produce fabrics of top quality that will last a lifetime. All their textiles are hand-sewn in their London workshop but fabrics sourced from across the globe are also sold. Seeking out some of the best, and hardest to reach, makers and craftspeople in the UK and working with them to develop contemporary pieces using traditional techniques.
WELCOME TO ETHEREAL HOME DECOR
Paolo Moschino and Philip Vergeylen are the talent behind the Nicholas Haslam shop off Pimlico Road, stocked with antiques and their own designs for furniture, lighting and fabrics. In the smart surrounds of Upper Street sits this mecca for contemporary, Scandi-chic furniture and icons of twentieth century design. If you’ve seen an iconic piece of modern furniture you love, chances are you can find it here. Visiting Alex Eagle’s sprawling shop on Lexington Street in Soho is designed to feel like a trip to an impossibly cool friend’s house. As well as clothes, Alex specialises in all that is current and cool in interiors, whether that’s a Luke Edward Hall print, a JP Demeyer cushion or a one of a kind vintage sofa. Trove launched in 2019 as the product wing of interior design firm Studio Duggan.
This mix, teamed with a very nice in-store coffee bar, makes Aria a pleasure to visit. Chairs are a speciality, with Starck and Patrick Jouin well represented. Smaller stand-outs include a Fisheye Kompact camera (£49.95) and pretty Taika bowl (£16.50) that would make a great gift, especially if it had some of Aria’s very tempting selection of toiletries nestled inside it. This service is complete with the 621 Table, which is perfect by itself or as an additional surface area. All of Vitsœ’s pieces can be designed and bought in its new Marylebone flagship store. Cultural imprint and HYPEBEAST favorite Goodhood opened in 2007 and has since curated an effortless lifestyle for the discerning East London crowd. Goodhood is an original one-stop-shop, perfect for when you want to pick up the latest magazines, a Bang & Olufson speaker and functional homeware from Ferm Living. Having started off his career as a dealer, interior designer Adam Bray has returning to his roots with a new shop in Camden.
Tom Dixon’s world consists of ultra-minimalist lighting, interpretive seating, architecturally-indebted tables and, more familiarly, its range of home fragrances. Tom Dixon rose to his prominence in the 1980s after having his welded salvaged furniture spotted, turning from an untrained designer into a British household name. Its UK flagship store offers a wide range of Dixon-designed goods, including a display of its Melt pendant lights, various diffusers and an extensive line of contemporary, industrialism-indebted furniture. British furniture manufacturer Vitsœ — which to this day continues to realize the post-modern designs of Dieter Rams — prides itself on its adaptability. Chiefly, Vitsœ and its Rams-designed 606 Universal Shelving System, have stood the test of time since 1960 thanks to its unique forever-expanding and completely interchangeable nature. Vitsœ also provides the 620 Chair Programme, which is another adaptive program that allows you, and your personal planner, to expand one chair into an entire sofa.
Now, alongside the designs that made its name, Linley stocks all manner of top quality homewares, from accessories to furniture, as well as being a maker of bespoke kitchens and fitted cabinetry. Robert Kime is one of the world's most renowned decorators and antiques dealers. Browsing his London shop is like visiting a house he has designed, and is inspiring to visit even if you're not buying. If you are, then his range of furniture, antiques, fabrics and wallpapers are sublime and there is no better way to choose than seeing them in the flesh.
Come here for enamel teapots, cotton work jackets, and an array of well-designed, distinctly un-frou-frou stationery, including cloth-bound notebooks and staplers that seem to have emerged unscathed from the 1950s. Leading the way in architectural salvage, Lassco has been uniting Londoners with restored pieces since 1979. They can be found out in south east London, as well as in the ever stylish Brunswick House.
Chris, our founder, wanted to create an online boutique offering interesting and useful products for home and garden, for oneself and to share as homeware gifts. Named after what they stock, future being new designs from around the world, and found representing the array of vintage market finds on display, the shop provides what it promises. All their designs are simple and the colour palette is uncluttered – you won’t find an array of brash coloured objects here but rather muted shades.
The Conran Design Group was founded in 1956, moving into a physical flagship in 1973, and to its space now in Chelsea in 1987. The Conran Shop’s vision has stayed the same ever since, providing contemporary furniture and interior accessories for every room in your home from its curated selection of carefully considered designers. The Conran Shop truly has everything for everyone, and also offers customers with its unique vintage furniture concept, allowing you to add a personal touch to your home with reclaimed and restored gems.
What began as a mail orders interiors company in 1999, turned into an official shop in Parsons Green, by 2000. OKA offer hand-crafted rattan accessories and storage inspired by the Far East yet adapted and modernised for the West. Founded by Adam Hills and Maria Speake, who met on their first day at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, their vision for the shop was unique. Salvaging items from skips, old offices and abandoned houses to name a few places, the shop is full of quirky pieces.
